My name is Olivia Swart and I began teaching piano from my home in Clayton, NC in 2022. I am a classically trained pianist with over 17 years of experience. I have a strong background in both jazz and classical music. 

My lessons are designed to create well rounded musicians by balancing theory and performance skills. This includes learning to read music, chord theory, exploring different genres of music, and performing in front of an audience at recitals. Attending recitals is not mandatory, but public performance is a great skill to have in music!
